Well today I'm giving ya'll and update on my gardening adventure and I've discovered some kind of new fruit growing in our backyard! Although I've had an indoor garden of sorts for about a year now, outdoor gardening is completely new for me. So far this year I've learned how to manage rocky soil tainted with tons of clay and till it so it's garden ready. I've also learned how to start a compost heap and that's going well but where I'm having some trouble is getting my seeds started! For my indoor garden I've used 90% cloning techniques with the exception of sprouting and planting on a few occasions. Now that I'm gardening outside I've chosen to buy seeds in packages and plant. At first I just wanted to plant the seeds in the ground outside but after looking at some videos on youtube it was recommended to start my seedlings indoors. With that advice this is exactly what I did only it's been an up and down battle of life and death! From my indoor gardening experience with cloning I cut the clones, dip in a hormone, plant in clone blocks, water, cover with dome and a week later roots are ready to be planted. I tried using some of these tactics with the seeds and the results haven't been what I'm used to.
